Montana began in 1985, when the Maamoun brothers set up a small operation in their hometown of Qalma, Qalyubia, with a single product and a clear conviction: that Egypt's farmland could feed the world with the freshest frozen food on the market.
That first product was Molokhia — a family staple, painstakingly cleaned and minced, then flash-frozen to lock in the flavour and nutrition of the field. It is still one of Montana's bestsellers four decades later.
Today, Montana operates 20 production lines, serves customers in 70+ countries, and remains the largest company in the Maamoun Group — the engine behind our international footprint.
